Workforce Innovations and Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs supports individuals who are dedicated to improving their academic, career outcomes, and life skills. This program combines academic support with intensive mentoring, career development, and maybe opportunities for paid internships to increase work readiness. The goal of the program is to prepare students for job placement and completion of their high school diploma, GED, trade school, certificate program, or other post-secondary educational programs.

Program objectives include:

- Identify obstacles (personal and career) in current Life situation
 -Promote successful completion of GED, High School Diploma, or another academic program

-Personal / Career Development Strategy

- Practice Stress management and coping skills
 -Promote entering higher education program, trade school, or certificate program

- Identify Career Goals
 -Increase leadership and civic engagement
-Increase work readiness skills
- Help place every client in a job or secure a higher paying job.

 

Life Begins with Change Personal / Career Development Program

Life Begins with Change is a 6-month program consisting of 10 steps to personal / career development. Guidance and support are provided to help overcome past and current obstacles, develop a plan of action, development skills as well as educational and employment assistance. We help individuals identify themselves then identify resources to become self-sufficient.

 

How you can help!!!

In Real Life Enterprises provides these services to its clients in connection to other programs as well. Individuals in the program often need housing assistance, food, clothes, transportation and other services our funding does not cover. We appreciate all donations. We are asking not only for material gifts, but volunteer time as well. Please consider making your donation Today!!!
